We have lived through the hectic confusion that takes place during any event that might cause someone to temporarily relocate.
We also know how easy it is for people to lose contact with loved ones, family, friends, and the work place.
In an effort to ease the confusion The Hikids57 Company is offering its "Baytown Area Voices" Website as an avenue for family, friends, and co-workers to stay in touch during an emergency or evacuation situation.
The following instructions will demonstrate how to submit your contact information in a way that will allow others read your information in the event they have lost contact with you.
Step 1
Register on the "Baytown Area Voices" Website by clicking on the "Register" icon located in the upper portion of the left column.
You will then need to create and enter a desire "User ID", which can be any combination of numbers and/or letters but no more than 15 characters long.
Next enter your desired "Password", which can be any combination of numbers and/or letters but no more than 15characters long.
Step 2
Once you have registered you will need to submit an article, this can be started by clicking on the "Submit Article" icon located in the upper portion of the left column.
You will need to complete each of the following 6 items:
1. Title
It is suggested that your title be something simple such as "Contact Mr. and Mrs. Smith". Naturally you will replace the names with your own, and you do not need quotation marks.
2. Article Category
Select the drop down box, and then select the "Strom Messages" category.
3. Article Summary
Enter a brief message or description of no more than 100 characters. You may want to enter: "Read contact information for ______________________." Replace the blank with your desired name and/or desired contact information.
4. Article Content
You may enter extensive information in this area. You may consider entering your destination, hotel, motel, or another family member's residence. Also leave any contact phone or cell phone number you do not mind sharing with the entire planet. Or just leave written instructions of how you desire to be contacted.
Please, do not enter any information (personal or otherwise) that you do not want to be exposed or shared with others. The Hikids57 Company will not accept responsibility for any information you decide to share or for what may happen with the information you share.
5. About the Author
You must put some text words in this area in order to process your article content. You can just repeat your name, or you can enter random letters.
6. Article Keywords
It is suggested that you only enter your last name. This will help others trying to locate you information on the "Baytown Area Voices" Website.
Once you have entered all the information you desire click on the "Submit" icon. Your article will be reviewed and approved.
Others may leave questions or information in the comments section of your article. They will have to register in order to post a comment; however, they do not have to register in order to read your article.
You may return as often as you desire, and you can update or delete any information you may have posted. Updates require the Editor's approval, which may take a little time. Please be patient.
Finally, be sure to call, eMail, text message, or write anyone you feel may need to find your information online. Give them the URL (Internet address of the "Baytown Area Website", which is http://www.bavoices.com.
Tell them to click on the "Storm Messages" category icon. They can then find the title and the article summary entries you made, which will be listed among all the messages filed on the Website.
