According to the website, "The index has been made possible, in part, through a TexTreasures grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. George Eggleston of the Houston Area Library Automated Network and Houston Public Library are gratefully acknowledged for creation of this database."
